  2. I would like to know the details of the Owl Printmaking Foam project. How did you use the foam to create these incredible images?

    Thanks

  3. Hi Marseille, I used foam plates from the dollar store and traced a CD in the center and cut them out. The drawing part of the owl was pretty simple since it was Kindergarten kids. We did it step by step and all together. First we drew out an egg shape for the whole body shape. Then we made a mustache shape for the under the eyes shape followed by mini eggs for the eyes. The beak was a triangle and the ears. And finally the wings and feet to complete the shapes. We talked about patterns and drew examples on the board and filled those in the wings and backgrounds. Hope that helps:) Sherri

  4. Forgot to tell you we drew all this on paper first as practice then used a dull pencil to draw on the foam! You need to press hard enough to make an impression without going all the way through the foam. Have fun!
