Sunshine! Mommy and Me

Sunshine was the theme today to celebrate the coming summer season. We use watercolors to create a background and then used our gooey paint covered handprint over and over again to make the sunshine.  Our book today was "Beetle Bop" by Denise Fleming.

Reminder: Next week Mommy and Me classes start at 10:30!

Little Rubber Ducks Mommy and Me

10 Little Rubber Ducks Board Book [Book] Mommy and Me Class was all about Ducks! We sang our song and read "10 Little Rubber Ducks" by Eric Carle.  Then we created our own duck collages with lots of different materials. We used torn paper, glue, markers and crayons for our backgrounds. To make the picture complete we used a sponge cut out like a duck to stamp bright yellow paint. Check out our hard work!

Handprint Flags for Memorial Day! Mommy and Me

Olivia Forms a Band
By Ian Falconer
Memorial Day Weekend is upon us, so to celebrate, we made handprint flags. But first we sang and read an Olivia book. Another mommie, Tracey, and I painted hands with red, white and blue while children put the finishing touches on. We had children who used crayon, markers and stamps. Thank you to all our Veterans and Military!

Popsicle Puzzles

Art's Supplies
We made Popsicle Puzzles today in Mommy and Me art class at CCAA in Exton Mall. Our group was small but we still managed to sing loud and enjoy our book, "Art's Supplies," by Chris Tougas. Check our photos to see us working, playing and even helping to clean up!
